Baba Baile McKnight is an expert on the expression of African culture through its rich history of African drum traditions and drum culture. The Baile’s African Drum Works group, with which he is associated, has been working for over 50 years to provide an education and experience in African culture through drum products and classes.
Workshop Instrument: The shekere is a West African percussion instrument consisting of a dried gourd with a woven netting of beads covering the gourd.
